Trainings and Webinars
Sligo Law Group offers paid trainings and webinars designed for education practitioners who need clear, practical guidance grounded in deep federal education law expertise.
Our trainings are developed and led by former U.S. Department of Education attorneys and other subject-matter experts with extensive experience advising, enforcing, and litigating federal education programs. We focus on translating complex legal and regulatory requirements into actionable guidance for real-world implementation.
Customized Trainings
We provide tailored, fee-based trainings on specific legal and compliance topics, developed to meet the needs of a particular audience, program, or risk profile. These sessions can be customized for:
State and local educational agencies
Public and private schools and charter networks
Institutions of higher education
Nonprofits, intermediaries, and membership organizations
Program administrators, compliance staff, legal teams, and leadership
Customized trainings may address substantive program requirements, emerging enforcement trends, audit and monitoring readiness, documentation and internal controls, or responding to identified compliance concerns. Content, format, and depth are adapted based on participant roles and objectives.
Webinars and Institutes
In addition to customized trainings, we offer paid webinars and multi-session institutes on topics of broad interest to education practitioners. These programs are designed to provide structured, in-depth analysis of federal education law developments, recurring compliance challenges, and evolving policy priorities.
Webinars and institutes may include live presentations, written materials, practical tools, and opportunities for participant questions. Many programs are appropriate for organizations seeking consistent, high-quality professional development across teams.
